Thanks for sharing the pictures Steve and I'm looking forward to see what Damiens managed to salvage.
I got absolutely soaked at LHR yesterday but it was well worth it just to hear and feel those engines roar for the last time.
To everyone who has posted pictures/audio/video over that last few weeks, many many thanks.
She will be sadly missed; BA are now just another airline, and LHR has lost a major attraction.

Question about the reg
I wasn't there sadly but a chum who was asked the question...
"Any idea why the registration, G-BOAF, is correctly shown on the aft fuselage but is shown as G-BOAC on the underside of the wing?"

Just thought I'd mention that I saw G-BOAD looking particularly forlorn and out of place on a barge at Pier 86 in New York this morning. It appears she'll spend the rest of her days as an exhibit here.
She joins a load of US/UK military aircraft on display and I hope she's looked after better that the others. The rest look very weather beaten and tatty.
At one point, I could look at a Harrier and Concorde at the same time - we have made some beautiful aircraft in our time.
