This was mentioned a while ago by rich49 about maybe forming a London beased aeroclub for all those @ university who fancy flying regularly (for a cheaper rate - i.e. student reductions)
How's that getting on btw? I've just been thinking that it may actually be a very hard thing to do! My university has got a personal arrangement with the local aeroclubs about it's student rates and no doubt any other uni who offers Aerospace Engineering will also..with different clubs @ different airfileds. Maybe it will be better to form an open group that although opperates from separate airfields could still belong to the same club or society.

This is initially opened to the public, but I guess mainly for those who posted in this post
