Transair/Oxford PPL Study Package - Any Good?
Can anybody recommend this pack of CDs for the PPL exams and VFR RT? (Advertised on p35 of October's Pilot.)
I've got the demo disk and the sound is crackly and 'staticky' - maybe that's just to get you used to listening on the radio
Thanks, Dave.

Personally I wouldnt waste your money, I have heard they are of course excellent but the whole set is quite expensive, it all depends on your academic abilities I suppose, I found the Trevor Thom books coupled with the PPL Confuser more than adequate to breeze through all the PPL exams, I know you dont have to be a brain surgeon or anything, it just all depends how 'confident' you are in a learning environment, starting my PPL at the age of 28 and being out of the classroom/learning environment for so long I found the concentration hard but I did an Open University Maths course the year before and found this helped a bit.
Anyway thats just my "personal" opinion and Im sure other people would say do the oposite.
