Are Foreign Fly-ins well Supported?

Having seen Shoreham receive over 60 visiting aircraft from Rouen this weekend, I wondered if we Brits would take as many away on an organised weekend jaunt to Foreign lands?

It was great to see so many Robins, a pleasant change from row upon row of Cessnas and Pipers usually found on British Airfields.

The St. Omer (Jodel) fly-in last weekend was well organised and well supported. A number of aircraft from Headcorn and Rochester as well as independent aircraft from farm strips went along. Regular visitors to Continental fly-ins tend to be from the PFA Mid Kent Strut and other people in the area. It's great fun and easy to do.
