Question clearwater airpark

I am hoping do some hour building in November in the US and saw Clearwater airpark advertised. It looks good, but I would like to hear from anyone that has been there and can say what the aircraft and accomadation there is like and is it close to the beach and town to keep the bird happy!

Thankyou.

Parris 60,

Was there November 2000 for a month. Looking at the website it looks like it has changed hands since then, so I can't really comment on the current set up. Maintenance, and aircraft then were very good. In general terms it was very friendly airfield. The appartments I stayed in were very near the beach (very nice), with the airpark a 15-20 minute drive. The Ebb Tide I think. Very competitively priced, and comfortable. There's plenty to see and do, so the Dorris should be contented.

Highly recommended.

Cheers
