Solo !!!
Yesterday was the day. Finally went solo
I still haven't stopped smiling
It was a great feeling. I've never been more lonely before....making that downwind call with no one beside me (to hold my hand).
Got down safe and well! What a feeling!!

CONGRATULATIONS!
This is where the adventure REALLY begins.
If you felt lonely on your first solo, wait until your first solo x-country! Now that I think about it, if memory serves you will be so busy that you might not notice you are on your own!

Well done! Just a pity I couldn't get that photo for you! Email me with all the details please - which instructor? Which runway? Which aircraft? I BET it was Romeo Charlie (mine was). Do they still give you a certificate?

Well done, I still remember mine, (17 yrs ago!) - that downwind call and then the empty a/c feeling in the pause between completing the checks and turning base.
As has been said, I hope it’s the first small step of many wonderful ones ahead!
