I have no idea in what type of job you're involved in and can only guess at what's happened. I, too, wish you a speedy recovery from the shock and hope to meet you at the December Bash ....

take care...

Paul,

Real sorry to hear about that. Been in a similar(-ish) situation. It wasn't anything to do with you. You just had the misfortune to be closer than everyone else. Take it steady and you'll come through it OK.

Make whatever use you feel you need of the support provided by your employer or union. Or friends. We're here to help.

Take care,

RTFM

Best wishes and a speedy recovery from your terrible experience. I think I can guess the circumstances given you method of earning flying tokens.

As RTFm said, nothing to do with you, you were just in the right place at the wrong time.

Try to make the North Weald Fly-in on 14th September a step back to the world.

Thank you all for writing such nice things. I have to admit I am a little blown-away by your messages here and all the e-mails and PM's that I have received. I am genuinely moved and I can only thank you all for helping me come to terms and try to get things back to normal.

Things are still a bit fresh in my mind right now but its not as bad as the few days after it happened. Reading your support over the last week has helped a hell of a lot and I humbly thank you all again.

Paul.

Living and working in London, one gets used to the Tube being disrupted by incidents like this.

It's only when it happens to someone you know that it really brings home what the poor driver must be going through afterwards.

Sorry it happened to you Big Red L. I'm sure with time that awful memory will fade.

Take care
