Unable to scroll back from the last page
Infinite Scroll Disappeared.
The ability to scroll right up or down a long thread has suddenly disappeared on my laptop. I now have to use the clumsy "previous" and ""next" buttons on the conrol bar.
What happened - I'ev changed precisely nothing.
How do I recover it?

I’m having the same problem. I can click on a “page” I want to view, but often can’t get out of the few posts of that page.
If I go to last page, I can’t scroll upwards to see preceding posts.
I have an iPad and recently installed the latest update, so a few minor things aren’t acting exactly the way they used to, but this problem precedes that.
I did reboot my machine, but that doesn’t help.

As mentioned elsewhere, sometimes when people post YouTube links directly, I get a blank area.
When I want to post a relevant YouTube link, I’ll post it directly, but I’ll also put the link in quotes so it can be seen consistently.
This fluke comes and goes, and I don’t know the magic switch that will let me see what YouTube links others post.
Sometimes quitting Safari completely helps, but not always.
Thank you for your efforts and support.

as for the scrolling check settings in USER Control Panel (UCP) Options
I've thried that several times; only difference is that the "PPRune" header freezes/unfreezes.
Anyone else keep getting "Page become unresponsive" message?

For what it's worth, given there are two related threads, my own symptoms
Infinite scroll enabled....not working.
Unable to post on " quick reply ".
When I read a thread on say, JB, then click on JB (partially hidden by Pprune title at the top) no response.
Still unable to view YT links.
Win10 / desk top.

problems viewing older entries
I am experiencing a problem when viewing a thread. Normally, when going to the last page, I could scroll upwards and see the previous posts , especially handy if I was away a few days and can connect again to the thread where I left it. Also, the name bar of PPRuNE stays in place and becomes in front of the thread. The page counter is no longer visible within the thread, so I cannot go back to the previous page. When in the general index of the thread subjects I do see the page counter, but it only gives the last page and pages 1 to 4. Is something wrong with my browser? (Windows 10, Firefox) Any help will be appreciated, thanks

As someone who spent quite a few (too many) years working in Incident Management for a major bank, finalliy I acan speak with some authority on a subject.
If the 'owners' are monitoring this, the responsible thing to do is to 'back out' the change, find out what is causing the problem, get a fix, EXTENSIVELY test it, then re-apply.
Can't imagine the advertosers would be too impressed if people started leaving.
Wonder if this post will appear?

Reply problems
Looks like many others having the same problem and the original thread "moved to" ?????
Glad it's not just me,
Thanks Senior Pilot and Astreus for helpful suggestions.
I managed to get a message about a recentl past colleague by going to the "reply to thread" as opposed to "quick reply". But all the other problems remain including getting stuck on the last page.
One Mod admits the problem is with Admin and related to the cookies issue.
Way back, stuck in TFS, persuaded by Engineers to lift up cowls, deep dive and carry out a BCFU check (appropriate). Resulted in making matters worse and stuck, AOG for three days. So, reluctant to try some of the fixes here !

I can only like a post now by right clicking and selecting open link in new tab.
IBJoel IBJoel, have legal checked this is compliant with UK/EU GDPR? If it is necessary then it should be an essential cookie, I never accept non-essential cookies and am already fed up having to object to legitimate interest multiple times every time I access PPRuNe in a new session.

I too had problems with replying to this thread: a suggestion is to use Contact Us which goes directly to IB.
IBJ - that seems to have cured my problems
