Likes and dislikes

I like this forum; and I like how well the mods moderate this forum; and I like the "Likes" functionality.
Now I think I need just one or two more posts and I can tap the "Likes" button.

Gosh, four pages on this stuff. I thought I would need to start a new thread because I dislike the new "like" button. I really liked the old "like" prompt window and the auto display of all those who had demonstrated a "like" of the post. It would influence me too. If a well regarded poster had liked, I might read. If someone I didn't like had "liked", I would still read in order to confirm my dislike of the poster. All this on ready display.

I appreciate that all one has to do is hit the arrow button on the new like button and one can then view all the people liking. But, old school, stick & rudder, the very fast overview of who posted a "like" is missed. It was there, instant.. Just like trembling airframe, high nose-up, sloppy controls.............yeah, yeah, yeah, now, just push a button. Gees !

Also note that the likes button (and list of people that used it) disappears for closed thread, unless you are a mod apparently (!).
