Posting issue - no toolbar

I've been asked to post a message in this forum.

I am just seeing a plain vanilla form with no toolbar for formatting, links, images etc. This goes for this New Thread screen, the Quick reply and the advanced reply screen. So in theory I can't post images links for format in a post.

I use OneDrive to store my images and the PPRuNe image upload has never worked for me, I normally press the source button and paste my image link in between img tags. No source button now.

I have discovered that if I paste the image link into the thread and preview, I can change the url tags to img tags and the image displays - exactly how I am doing below.



The first highlight is how pasting/preview makes the link appear, and changing the edit box from this

then Preview Post makes the image appear


I am running on Windows 10 Pro build 19041.329, Browser is Edge 83.0.478.54.
Firefox, Chrome & Opera are the same.

Chrome is all over the place with the login looks like this,



The login button doesn't seem to work. Have to go to a screen where the login it displayed. I use a password manager, so hadn't noticed this before.

OK, toolbar is back in Edge, Chrome, Firefox & Opera
Chrome login looks fine now.

If this happens:

• clear browser cache
• go to usercp, and be sure your text editor is set to enhanced ckeditor
• be sure your style chooser (lower left pulldown) is PPRuNe NG
