Trending threads... Getting just a little annnoying
Anybody else feel the ‘trending threads’ thing has kinda lost its shine... I’m certain too many Oz threads are receiving far too many hits distorting the whole balance of the site ..
Just saying .. Can we get rid of the marketing stuff here please.

Fully agree with poster - it's irritating to always get directed to this screen. Even if you can adjust it, I don't want to have to do so each time clear my internet history.
Just don't see how it contributes much over and above the previous PPRuNe menus.

That'll be "Hear, hear!" x 2!
Edit:- Not that I'm anti-Oz you understand .... nearly married one and got several family living there - obviously from the "dark side" of the family! Still in touch with my Oz "ex" and her new family after 30 years!!!!

Whilst we’re at it can we get rid of the automatic page change when scrolling down or up? Too many times do I find myself to be reading a thread only to scroll down and find myself completely lost on a new page someplace.

unfortunately, this site is a poor place compared to when Danny first set it up. It’s now clunky, full of adverts and posters that have little idea about aviation.

There is another option called "Infinite scroll". Disable that to disable the automatic switchover to the next page. It is in the section Thread Display Options.
Personally i kinda like it, as i am too lazy to hit the next page button. Yes, sorry, i am just an airbus pilot and therefore infinitely lazy...
