PPRruNe 'not secure' sayeth Chrome.

I usually view and post via Andrex tablet with no issues but today I tried to get on via Chrome using Win7 PC.
No chance - it says the site is not secure and won't let me go any further.
Is this a known issue and is there a workround?

I'm reading this on a Windows 7 professional computer using Chrome, and have done for a good few years now.

I think I might know the answer. Worth a try, anyway.
As I understand it, Chrome now ‘flags’ all traditional http sites as ‘not secure’, but allows https sites instead.

if you currently access PPRune via a saved bookmark, or a ‘favourite’, or a link, it could be that you are going to the ‘old style’ http site.

I’d say to try keying in the full web address, but to start with https rather than http.

i think it might work. If not, then I think updating the win7 pc until windows update won’t do any more, and then updating chrome, then updating your virus software would be my next step.

hope you get it fixed...

Do other https (padlock symbol on address bar) websites work?

Is the clock correct on your PC?

I've had similar issues on none PPrune sites - even though others around me were able to get in. By changing https to http I was able to access the site... weird
