'New Format'
Is it just me?, but this new layout is naff. No indication of new posts or what posts you've previously read. Maybe it's my old I pad!!, but sorry, for me it's not good
Ditto. And how do I permanently stop the annoying musical ad that plays every time I start browsing PPRuNe (Using a Mac, I have to click on a 'mute' icon that pops up in the address bar to shut it up every time it starts)? Cheers.

I too hate the mobile PPRuNe site. I used to click on "view full site" which took me, as the name suggested, to the full site.
But now the "view full site" button doesn't work and I am stuck on the horrible mobile site.
I am using an ipad with IOS 10.1.1
Any suggestions please?

I, too, ended here looking for "why". The mobile site is awful. I'm using Safari on iPad 2/iOS8 (yes, rather ancient) and new pages would randomly open in mobile mode. If I scrolled a lonnnnnggg way to the page bottom, I could choose Full Site (I think was the term). Then that wouldn't work. Having Opera Mini browser also onboard, I tried it, and it loaded full site and looked super. Ironically, when I came to this page to report success, it went into mobile view. Yech! Then full again.
I only look at PPRuNe on a mobile device now (at the desktop, I'm working) and I can't see how mobile view could ever be an advantage over full. Nothing like fixing something that wasn't broken.
