Thought I'd better dig out my old user name in case everybody said who the **** is that saying thanks for a bash he never attended!

Massive thanks to Wholi and Radar for organising a truly wonderful Bash It was really great to see such a big bunch of the 'good guys' again and to also be a founder member of the Somerset Sandwich

Just got back from Canada, eh, to find that the builders have ripped out the old kitchen and all we have left is a cold water tap hanging on the wall and an electric kettle. Met some very interesting people at the launderette yesterday but was wondering if we could have another ZoomBash immediately and lasting for about five weeks? Just a thought

glad you enjoyed it sandwich man!

'Twas on the A303 heading west at Amesbury, 1:15 or so in the afternoon. To my chagrin, I can't remember seeing any signs indicating cameras, or yellow boxes to hide them. Normally I spot these things well in advance. Guess my situational awareness was somewhat blunted and my mind on the other things you alluded to . . . . . .
Tha's a real booger of a camera that one.... tis at the bottom of a hill swooping down to the big roundabout before stonehenge and catches lots of cars trying to overtake the slow juggernauts and 'ravans before the road narrows after the roundabout and thereby avoid the bottleneck at stonehenge.... it's a relatively new one as well...

I'm still finding plastic glasses and beercans in the garden.... please hurry up wif the next bash!! still haven't taken in the flares and tea lights - might leave them out....

Don Corleone Speaks . . .

Got the offer I couldn't refuse today. The maximum penalty for my speeding offence, according to the Wiltshire Constabulary, is a 1000 fine (that's ONE THOUSAND pounds!!) and a 6 point penalty.

The offer they made me was 60 fine and 3 points, on an otherwise unblemished licence (under the terms of rehabilitating offenders for evils they have committed a long time ago, in a galaxy far from here).

Mebbe I shudda stayed at the Bash, or attempted to get there somewhat more slowly . . . .
