London to Stansted

Is there a train to London Stansted from the centre of London? If so how long does it take? And is it a direct route?

Yes, there is direct line from Liverpool Street to Stansted, check the network rail site for times.

Yes, from Liverpool Street Station, direct every 15 mins, takes 45 mins or so. Search for Stansted Express.

Stansted Express

Leaves from Liverpool Street, so pretty central if you're in the City of London. Runs every 15 minutes from 05:00 to 23:00 (weekdays) and takes about 45 minutes to get to Stansted.

Felix one of the best ways to find out how to get to an airport these days, is to look at the airport website. They have a 'how to get here' section. If you do not know the airport site - in any country- then search for it and then work backwards. This is particularly useful for airports in countires that you have never been to.
