Arrow ATTN: All Ryanair pax at STN

To save anyone missing their flight and then starting a thread here to complain about the new policy, please read and understand Ryanair's updated policy at STN.

-------------------------------------------------------------

New Check-In Procedure At London Stansted from January 15

RYANAIR check-in at Stansted Airport will now close 40 minutes before the scheduled time of departure. Check-in at all other airports closes 30 minutes before the scheduled time of departure.

We reserve the right to cancel your reservation and to deny you boarding without refund if you do not comply with the Check-in deadline.

Ryanair operate a priority boarding system, which allows you to choose your own seat once you are on board the aircraft (subject to certain exceptions). When you check in you will be given a numbered boarding card, so the earlier you check in, the earlier you will be allowed to board.

This new check-in deadline for London Stansted will come into operation from 15th January 2003.

------------------------------------------------------

Some of these have are already in force, some will start on the 15th. Continue to fly Ryanair, just make sure you arrive at the airport in planty of time. Don't forget your passport, even if flying domestic or to Ireland, as these flights still require positive ID.

All was well today on a return trip to Hahn ,Excellent set up throughout. As for the boarding , Thought pax with children on board first was a nice touch .To be honest couldn't fault the company at all.Lets trust the new idea works as well. Both ways in early too which was a bonus !!

P-W-A: It's good to hear from a satisfied customer. You'll be pleased to know that pre-boarding of pax with children and special assistance will continue, and the closure of check-in at STN earlier than at other airports is because of delays at security and the greater distance that pax need to walk to gates 40-59.

Check-in closure time will start with effect from Mon 21st .

Yes there have been probs with security queues which
"they are looking into" and to get to gate 59 it is a good 15 mins walk at a steady pace.

Good to hear some good press for our irish buddies.

Speak as you find is my motto ! .Too much berating and slagging off on these forums does little to help so when something good happens for a change why not broadcast the fact.
