The Unbendable Ryanair Refund Rules
This is just sheer pettiness by Ryanair. One of the victims of the train stabbing has been a life long fan of Nottingham Forest and had been booked to fly with the airline to his team's game in Austria. Due to his bravery in trying to save others on the train from being hurt he sustained significant injuries himself and is now unable to travel to Austria as planned.
He requested a refund on the flights and Ryanair have steadfastly refused...telling him that he should have got travel insurance.
As much as I agree that you should always get travel insurance, I think that in this specific case Rayanair could bend their rules just a little and refund this man...it would not hurt them to do so and it might even do their reputation a little bit of good if they did refund him. Afterall it isn't his fault that he cannot make the flights, is it?

A little common sense and compassion is needed here by Ryanair.

Have a better one..After the initial lockdown and the lack of security staff at Dublin I bought fast track a few days before the flight only to find it had been suspended by two months or more..dublin airport waste of time as were FR but after using aerlingus to Bristol I'm steadfastly a supporter of O'leary..the other lot are cowboys.
