BA A380 business class seat upgrade?

I've now experienced the new BA business class suite on 777s between LA and LHR, and it's so much better than the old yin-yang seats. Given specific life changes, I'd like to fly from the US West Coast to London from SFO rather than from LAX. Right now, it seems the most convenient flight is on a BA A380, but unlike the 777s, I think the old seating remains on those aircraft. Is that true, and if so, does anyone know if or when the BA A380s business class seats will be updated?

Many thanks in advance for any info.

Correct. The A380s should start to be refurbished later this year but it will be glacial progress.

If you want Club Suites, make sure it’s an A350, 777 (not LGW) or 787-10. A tiny number of 787-8s have also been refreshed with more on the way.

Check the seat map of the Biz 380. The last row has direct access from the window seat.

It is actually going to be a relatively fast program. BA are actually pulling off a route, to free up an A380 so the cabin refresh can be done, rather than waiting for each aircraft to go through normal maintenance before having the cabin refresh carried out.

With fuel down and passenger numbers up quite a few carriers are improving the onboard environment on the quads. It will be interesting to watch who and how many are brought back or upgraded.
Cheers

Apologies for the delayed response, but thank you, everyone. The main reason for asking is that when returning to the UK on vacation, I nearly always go through LAX, and most, if not all, flights from there have the upgraded suite. I often spend a week in the UK. Then a week in CA on those trips, but due to a change in personal circumstances, I'd like to go via SFO, as I know SoCal well. It's become a bit boring, so I would like to re-explore northern CA without having to deal with taking an extra day or two off my vacation time, dealing with extra flights, or long drives from LA.
