Bette Nash, longest serving CC has passed away

It has been reported in various media (I am unable to post links) that veteran American Airlines CC, Bette Nash, has passed away aged 88 years young after serving the airline since 1957.
A remarkable career that spanned much of the technological advances in modern air travel.

She was mentioned on the BBC 10 o'clock news last night, she was a looker that's for sure. Although the changes she experienced over the decades were slow as they often are on a day to day basis, as you say the seismic shift over those years was huge. I wonder what she thought of the industry these last two decades ? Herlove of her job no doubt gave her the impetus to keep on going long beyond most people's idea of retirement.
