MALTA AIRPORT & Air Malta

I have tried to find thin information on line but with little sucess.

Is there a inbound duty free shop at Malta? If so are prices good?

also do Air Malta have a lounge for business class at Gatwick?

thanks in advance.

I was there recently and don't recall an inbound one, but wasn't looking for it I have to admit. Can't help with the lounge question.

malta airport duty free doesn't mention any arrivals facility so I'd guess there are none

https://www.airtravelgenius.com/lond...rport-lounges/ says they use a lounge in the South Terminal

But as ever check with them

I think you'll find that the tax regime in Malta is quite low, even for booze and tobacco. Not for nothing are so many business jets and other commercial aircraft registered there
Can't help with the lounge question though.

Have arrived in Malta. For anyone interested yes there is a small duty free on arrival prices are not particularly cheap.
Air Malta use Numbef One lounge at LGW.
Found Air Malta Business class to be very good. Proper meal served on high quality ceramics glass for drinks proper metal cutlery of high standard, white linen table cloth, food excellent tray consisted of cold starter, hot main, cheese dish, dessert, warm breads. Reminiscent of the good old days!

We always used to say “yes it’s duty free but not profit free!”
