Transiting Amsterdam airport

Schiphol has a one-terminal concept, but on some flights arriving from the UK, one must exit to landside arrivals and then reclear security before having access to the main terminal area.
KLM pax on a proper connection from the UK do not have to reclear security, but what about pax arriving at AMS with other airlines ?
I think it's the case that Easyjet arrivals must reclear security, while BA pax don't have to. Is this correct ? Does not having to reclear security apply only on a formal connection, or does it apply to self-connecting pax as well ?

Most LCA's don't do connections with other airlines - so you have to collect your baggage and re-check it

You get what you pay for
