The travel industry unveiled its One Too Many campaign on social media and displays at 10 UK airports, including Gatwick and Manchester, ahead of what is often their busiest weekend.

Key thing is that it got lots of publicity so they can say they're doing their best. Airports will still continue to sell drinks, ditto airlines. The chances of this campaign making a significant dent in drunken passengers is pretty much nil.

For what it's worth I don't have a problem with the sale of alcohol. Sadly there will always be idiots that can't handle their drink and spoil it for the rest of us but in comparison to the total amount of passengers they really are a minute percentage.

I agree SamYeager.I think this is a marker. When needing to prosecute - they can point out the sign that was there and was ignored. What we need is one or two prosecutions.
