Angry Robbed in Departures at Seville

I was travelling with my partner & 3 mnths old baby on Friday & had just checked in for GB Airways flight to LGW, when left alone with by now screaming baby I was approached by a woman, asked in Spanish if I had lost any money (oldest trick in book, so I told her to get lost) However, she had successfully diverted my attention long enough to enable her accomplice to nab a bag.

I appreciate that sh*t does happen, but the bag had a unique manuscript in it for a book that I am working on re Count Louis Zborowski, the racing driver who put aeroplane engines in them to maximise speed (1910- 1920's) Luckily no passports etc & we were able to continue our journey.

Spanish police were disinterested - it probably happens every day- but the Spanish press are & are going to run an article in the hope that someone will find the dumped manuscript. Small hope I guess.

Does anyone know whether CCTV is active at check in?

Many thanks,
