No window?

On a SilkAir 737 800 I booked 9A for the window but in this row no window. Why is this so?

It’s a regular thing on the 737- qantas, Jetstar and various others have the same issue

due to air conditioning ducting running up the fuselage that way

The same was true in the last row of an easyJet A319 - they aircraft was obviously designed for a galley that was not fitted. I denighed mtý neice a view on a trip to GVA which was a shame.

That's interesting - I wasn't aware of any blanked windows on BA's A320 fleet apart from the one immediately aft of the forward door.

Can you by any chance remember the tail number or, failing that, the flight number/date?

Any chance your money back if you book a 'window seat'?

Sorry, forgot to check and, further Sorry, I was mis-remembering. When I went back to my records, it was not this aircraft. So, the 320 was blamless.

I can assure you that I am not the grey haired old codger in front of you in the queue that cannot remember where he is going. OK, I have some grey hair ..
