The same was true in the last row of an easyJet A319 - they aircraft was obviously designed for a galley that was not fitted. I denighed mtý neice a view on a trip to GVA which was a shame.
That's interesting - I wasn't aware of any blanked windows on BA's A320 fleet apart from the one immediately aft of the forward door.

Sorry, forgot to check and, further Sorry, I was mis-remembering. When I went back to my records, it was not this aircraft. So, the 320 was blamless.
