What code do you squawk for this kind of emergency?
Pilot forced to make emergency landing after fight breaks out when passenger refuses to stop farting.

The Dubai to Amsterdam flight made an unscheduled stop in Vienna as the elderly overweight man reportedly refused to contain himself in the packed out cabin.
Chaos erupted on the flight when two Dutchman who were sitting next to the flatulent man told him to stop and complained to Transavia Airlines crew.
Yet despite repeated requests and even a direct order from the pilot the man carried on and a fight broke out.

OK, who doesn't fart on a medium to long haul flight? 
Now you could argue that if it's a real problem the culprit could hide in the loo for most of the trip, but that wouldn't work on an American airline as they have the seat belt sign on most if not all the way!

If the flight isn't full, shift pax from back rows, turn off the recirc fans. Is it a lawful command that affects the safety of the flight to demand a pax stops farting? As Dave Allen said, "what happens if I don't? Then I get bubbles in my arms & legs, and then what? My eyes pop out or my ears burst."
The fight might be another thing on the safety issue, and that depends who started it.
I've known people forced to sit next between gentlemen from certain nations close to the equator who's BO was so bad it was nauseous, but couldn't be turned off. What then? The race card races its ugly head; and it nearly has.

You don't squawk anything - you just ask to divert to XYZ for operational reaons and get on with it. It is NOT an emergency, just a diversioon.

Had a similar incident on a short hop in India, Delhi - Varanasi, passengers apologised to the cabin and said that Jack Fruit was the issue, but boy did it stink. My fellow passengers were very sanguine about it, saying that, this fruit will do that to you, therefore do not eat before flying. Glad it was only a short hop.
