Schengen and airline security
I recently flew BRU-ARN-BRU with SAS. I was surprised that at no time during check-in or boarding was I asked for I/D. Coming under the Schengen Agreement, no passport control either, of course. Whilst SAS may be in the low-risk security bracket, in these times I found it odd to disregard such basic checks. Even U.S. companies introduced I/D verification on domestic flights (pre 9/11). On the bright side, C Class was good with pleasant (hot) meals......and real knives!

Seems odd, how did you buy the ticket? After all, you need photo id just to go Luton=>Glasgow these days!
Went AMS-CPH last week on SAS, (and noticed the cutlery). BA were sticking resolutely to plastic though.
Thinking about it, I just offered the ticket at check in too, no passport checks or other id needed
