Recharging 1pad on KLM Boing 777
First time travelling with wife who's addicted to "Words with Friends" Doubt if battery will last 14 hours. What plug/adapter should I use for recharging device on KLM 777 , Thanks in advance Al

Sometimes it depends on which route, if they have different fit-outs in the fleet. So putting in your flight number/s can help.
You can also use the many web sites that offer detailed information about airlines cabins and facilities. Just search for 777 in seat power (or similar) and many sites will be available.

If you have plug adaptors for US outlets and the standard 2-pin Euro outlet you should be covered.
iPads like most other devices these days will charge from either 110 or 220.

Most seatbacks on those routes have USB port chargers.
I've just bought a £6 portable battery pack which will charge an iPad quite quickly. In view of the restrictions flying from Egypt to London, I won't lose any sleep if they take it off me at security when I return.
A friend who travelled with EK said the USB ports are weak and do not really charge tablets 100%.
