Hobart - Adelaide

Someone has told me that, as there is no direct commerical flight you have to change in Melbourne - but that becasue they are all low cost flights you can't book your baagage through but have to reclaim it and then recheck it at MEL

I'm hoping someone is pulling my leg........

It comes down to what you consider your time is worth. If the convenience of baggage checked through to your destination is worth $50.00/ticket then travel full service. Many years ago there was a direct service from Hobart to Adelaide but the airlines don't consider it viable anymore. There is an old joke in Australia that says that Adelaide proves Tasmanians can swim.

I suspect my source flew a combined QANTAS/JETStar ticket of some sort which would explain the problem........

My clients in Adelaide would be quick to point out that the Crows are beating a lot of AFL teams from Victoria and NSW this season................
