Thumbs up Manchester - Venice July 2000

20 mnuites or so out of Manchester...

"This is your captain speaking, informing you we are now passing over Biggin Hill"

I really liked that...

Coming towards the final approach into Venice, we felt the Airbus 320 bank right, then the pitch dropped, a sharper bank to the left, and decsent began...

"This is your Co-Pilot speaking, as you will have just noticed, our Capian has just cut 7 and a half minuites of our landing time. Thank you".

If you flew , with Monarch Airline, an Airbus 320 from Manc - Venice in mid July 2000..

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE....allthough i was disapointed we didn't eneter a stack.

The Scandinavian pilot quickly brought over, plane and all, (due to mechanical failure on schedualed return flight), gave us a bloody good ride through a reasonably violent storm over Germany/Holland...

Thanks guys.
