Hi, wife and I will be flying this route in August. Just wondered if anyone knew what the likely routing will be, particularly the bit over the UK/northern Europe?
Thanks in advance

Hi, totally upper wind dependant on the day. The routing will always be optimised to ensure the most efficient flight plan possible. Normally though you can expect to head south eastbound initially towards western germany then onwards towards austria followed by hungary, romania, bulgaria not too far southwest from Istanbul before overflying central turkey.

Here's a map of the Great Circle Route: Great Circle Mapper

But your pilot will follow the active airways which don't follow the shortest route between B and D!
