It's an innovative approach where after every emergency the professional members on here repeat time and time again that people don't pay attention to the current announcements.
It would be interesting to know if the airlines have done some research on the effectiveness of these videos (I'm guessing that they must have).

Paxing All Over The World
Indeed, davidjpowell. We also see the results in news reports. Now that any evacuation (precautionary or emergency) is recorded on camera phones etc, we see pax carrying all many of items including max sized carry on bags.
We have discussed that topic in here and concluded that the CC at the evac door would have no choice but to let the pax take the items with them - as wrestling them away to put on a growing pile would delay matters further.
We also hear from the professionals that, if there is need (and time) time for a restatement of the demo - that everyone listens very carefully. So, one might conclude that, it doesn't matter What or How you put it - they don't listen.
