Quoted from the Daily Mail: Ms Lauren, shouting at Delta cabin crew,
...called Ms Topping a ‘f****** ugly, blonde b***h’ and Ms Simpson a ‘fat ugly, unhappy, blonde b***h’.
and has paid 2000€ for it.

I don't think she was in Champagne class. She was in row 21 or 22 I believe.

€2,000 of a fine to such an individual for an event that cost the airline over €45,000 seems light.

How did she get off the island in the end? Was she blacklisted?

It always seems that passengers who due to alcohol/drugs/medication/personality, get themselves into such situations always seem to see themselves as a victim and hard done by. In this case if she wishes to take such a stance, she might well want to wonder why several cabin crew heard and saw her behave very erratically, not to mention other passengers in the vicinity. No doubt mortified and trying desperately to not lose face amongst the social set in NYC. The gossip at those parties has got to sting

Ireland - a soft touch! A few months in prison would have sent a clearer message. As is it now, if you want a pop at cabin crew, make sure you are close to the Republic.

Is there an almost happy ending to the story, like Delta taking civil action to recover the cost of a diversion?
