Bangkok Airways
Anybody flown with these guys recently as I have a short hop in that part of the world in Nov, and the travel office have booked me with them rather than Thai. Just wanted to know how good / bad they are, and yes I have checked Skytrax.

The only snag with them is the remote parking at Bkk, so a bus journey to and from the terminal. Also highish fares on routes where they have a monopoly.

Website says "The current fleet is comprised of 8 ATR 72-500s, 10 Airbus 319s, and 5 Airbus 320s".
Can't fault service, but their 1st Airbus was the 1st time I came across non- reclining seats.

Well they were ok. A/C was A320 and flight depp 50min late due to late inbound and was from a stand with airbridge, so no bus just normal long walk as usual at BK. Lounge ok, but not quite up to EK std, but I was intrested that there was a lounge for economy passengers as well as business, which is the first time I have heard of this - Ryanair / Easyjet take note perhaps. Would use them again for short hops around Thailand, though would not want to fly on the longer routes given the seats.
