Singapore SQ321
Does anyone know why SQ has substituted a B777 the past 10 days for the trip LHR to Singapore,which is normally flown by the A380? Is this a permanent change?

I certainly do not know but the fact that it has been for 10 days indicates it's not one off. The candidates are:
- Planned maintenance of usual equipment
- Planned change of equipment due to seasonal variation
- Unexpected maintenance
- Unexpected load changes

SQ have gone from 3 A380s to 3 A380s + 1 B77W in recent months. They haven't quite settled which flight gets which equipment as it's been in flux recently.
