Cathay Econ / Prem econ question
After having booked a HKG-HND return in a few weeks, I noticed that premium economy was not an option to book (I assume because aircraft without it operate the route too). After picking my seats in economy I see that each aircraft I am on is configured with premium economy (77W / 744). So are these seats used, and if so, who gets them??? I'm BA silver / OW so hoping that gives me more chance....

You can't select premium economy on the route at all, for any flight. Another example is Thai between Bangkok and Phuket. They don't sell first class again as not all aircraft have it, but I travelled business on that route on a 747 and the first class seats were opened up to you at check in, with business class service of course.
