Modlin Closed to B737/A320 etc
Slightly surprising to see that this has not yet hit pprune, or did I look in the wrong place?
The local building inspector has reduced the runway to 1500m pending repairs.
Wizz had already switched to Chopin airport due to Modlin's lack of ILS, and Rynair's flights will all use Chopin as of now until early January at the earliest. Same schedule, I guess, and no big deal.
Hooray. I hate Modlin! Dreadful dump, back end of nowhere, and obviously badly managed.
