why is ba 838 LHR-DUB always delayed?

I regularly fly this service and since it has started it has never taken off on time once. I know that LHR is busy in the evenings but what is this really down to? Do BA hold their take off slots for their bigger aircraft/long haul, or are their ground crew a bit indifferent? Where is the aircraft coming from to pick us up that's it's always delayed? Would appreciate some feedback from those in the know. Thanks!

The scheduled time of departure is not a take off time. It is the time the aircraft pushes off stand.

What's your sample size? FWIW it has departed (i.e Brakes off) on time at least once in the last few days..

Not on a normal day.

usually a thurs or fri departure from lhr. I notice on flight stats that it running an hour 10 late tonight for example.
