Cityjet Dornier 328
Hi,
Travelling on cityjet 328 to Dundee. What is the best seat on the 328 or are they pretty much all the same? Also what is cityjet service like, is their food and drink any good?
Any info would be great

TRY2FLY. This is a great little service, I have used it several times and if you can get 9A get it! Cabin is in a 2:1 config, 9A is next to the rear emergency exit which means double (at least) the leg room of the other seats. One small tip when they bring you a G & T, the table is in the arm rest....took me ages to find that the 1st time and the seat in front is beyond reaching distance!
That aside, I have used this service a few times and the cabin crew (all one of them) are brilliant - this is a little like flying used to be - and only 19-20 peeps on board, ideal!

Cabin service will doubtless be excellent but there are far more important criteria in choosing an airline. In my opinion, having worked for Suckling, the best seat would be on the 0625 from Kings Cross. Or using a bicycle.

Service standards
I'm sorry Ag Bis didn't seem to get on well with R. (dec'd) or M., but I always found they ran a brilliant little airline. If it was so hard, how did they manage to recruit such service-oriented cabin crew who maintained the great standard in what, on a 30-seater, is a very unsupervised and self-managed role. I also had some excellent help from others in their organisation over time, way beyond what any network carrier would give.
Catering standards and stocks are unfortunately nowadays to their brand's standard, ie Cityjet, ultimately Air France, rather than the shortbread days of Suckling's independence.
To go back to the original question, seating is 1+2, and although you might think the single seat side is better for the single traveller, I find it's better to go for the other side if you feel the flight will not be sold out, as it gives you more space. Apart from the first morning southbound and the last evening northbound, flights are rarely full; pairs of travellers go for the double seats anyway so you normally have a good chance of being on your own.

WBHM, You miss the point though I had certainly had no respect whatsoever for the cowboy and cowgirl you mention.
Put it this way, lets hope that they have matched more important attributes than catering to Citijet's (high) standards. Me, I'd sooner fly Angolan Airlines. Really.

Suckling/Scot used to have a couple of rather good training captains who eventually, for one reason or another, said good night to the company. One of them went to Belgium and the other to a jet job. Perhaps there might have been some connection with perceived gross abuses of CAP371 which was written by R according to M. The cabin crew were always absolutely brilliant to work with!
