re the members' seat preference (window/aisle) logged on the profile.

Does anyone know whether the system is actively programmed to acknowledge this or whether it is entirely random in the hope that it will hit on a one in three chance and if not just rely on the 'not guaranteed ' disclaimer?

Thanks

As far as I know it will where possible provide your preference, keep in mind that gold and silver members can and full fare customers select seats at time od booking, and bronze one week out.

I agree with Cornishsimon here. Blue status preferences will be taken into account but you're quite low in the pecking order and only have a limited chance of getting what you wished for.
