EI179 LHR - DUB on Friday 13 Jan 2012?

Would anyone know:
(a) Actual departure time of EI179 LHR - DUB on Friday 13th Jan 2012?
(b) IATA set connection times for LHR T3 to T1?
Many thanks in advance for any assistance offered.

Home will provide the take off time under movements in Jan when it updated. Unless you mean the scheduled ETD in which case try the Aer Lingus or Heathrow Airport homepages for the times, they don't change much over the season.

This page Airport Minimum connection times for several major airports around the world - Denver to London says 1hr 15 min,

CAVEATS:

1) The page lists no effective date
2) There are no exceptions listed; there are always exceptions and they can be longer or shorter so AA to BD might be 1hr AA to NZ 1hr 30 and everyone else 1hr 15.
3) MCT only applies if you travel on a through ticket. A ticket and a reservation are NOT the same.

b) No such thing as an IATA set MCT. MCTs are agreed by the airlines concerned and the airport. IATA has no role here, nor should they.

Using flight radar playback system,it looked to depart LHR about 21:00.

The walking time is given as 11minutes between the two terminals, after you have picked up bags - passport, etc.

Much indebted to you for all your help.

Got the T3 to T1 its 90 mins.

Regarding those times Skipness. Are they pushback or airborne times?

EI179 was scheduled to depart 20:45 check in to close 20 mins before that at 20:25 but looks like check in closed 20:16 and departure at 20:36.

Whats all this fuss about slot times. Some pressure on someone for a quick turn around, home early or perhaps their ground staff were having a bad day?

Need I say SQ AKL-SIN-LHR didn't make it. SQ318 seems to have a very poor on-time performance.

From your kind direction I got all the information I need thanks Skipness, Farci, Hartington, ExXB and jubilee. Pprune at its best.

Beside Wetherspoon Express T1 near gates 77-90 there is a desk with departure information displayed. Is this a security desk or an airport information desk? We were told by a gentleman sitting at it 'not to worry the flight was being held for us. They know you are on the way'. Just puzzled how he came into the equation and knew about us!
