CX Long Haul

Usually I fly long haul with BA such as LHR-LOS, LAD, LAX and HKG. However I have been unable to get me a seat with BA out to HKG next month and I am going with CX in their Y cabin. Something to do with CNY celebrations apparently. Any tips on how CX will compare to BA?

Cool

far far better, but then I would say that, having flown both CX was better.

Long haul economy is never fun but I flew CX a couple of years ago in economy and it was fine. Some people don't like the seats where the seat slides forward rather than the back recline but it didn't bother me. The service, food & IFE were fine. You will be OK

Flew CX from midday to HKG, kept awake, good service & comfortable on A340, went to bed on arrival at hotel, good way to travel. Split journey via EK =
