Advice on putting firearms in IATA hand luggage sized cases

Given the thoughful responses to the 'nude flying' thread, I thought I would ask the forum if anyone has any special tips about how best to pack firearms in hand luggage sized bags.

I was thinking of placing some anti rust profing paper in there and then wrapping each gun in bubble wrap, to guard against knocks.

Rifles will need to be disassembled to fit or may not even be possible due to the length of the components.

Any ideas?

Why do I need to contact an airline? I have no intention of taking guns on an aicraft.

Since no involvement with aircraft or airlines, no reason to exist on this web site
