Birmingham / BHX - Arrivals

Hi All

My son is taking his first flight alone shortly, At 15, it has to be Aer Lingus to BHX, as Ryanair don't accept solo travellers at that age - otherwise he would be going to East Midlands which he and the people meeting him know.

However, a query has arisen as to where to meet him at BHX. As I understand it from the website there are two terminals, but the maps (when I eventually found them - 4Mb pdf!!) only seem to show an arrivals area for T2. The arrivals screen on the website does not give a terminal (nor, bizarrely, for departures). So the question is, do all arriving pax from both terminals come through the single arrivals area in T2? If not, where is the arrivals area for T1, and how does the waiting passenger know which terminal to go to?

Thanks in advance.

MD

Arriving pax all exit via one common exit situated between T1 and T2 but slightly closer to the T2 end.
