UK airspace closure, 2011 Feb 15

I'm sat in the BA lounge at MAN and quit4e surprised to finde no reference anywhere I can see on here to the apparent closure of UK airspace this morning.

If anyone out there is interested, a Delta 767 ledt MAN at 13:00, shortly followed by a LH A320 (I think). Since then there has been nothing much until a BA arrival just after 13:30.

My BA flight to Heathrow, initially schduled for 12:55 is now showing depare 14:10. Just time to absorb another glass of BA plonk.

What was this all about?

Not clear the point you are making. Flightradar24.com is showing the usual amount of traffic over the UK, I am at Gatwick and crossed the concourse about 13.00 and all appeared normal.
