Iain Stables, a radio "shock jock", was trying to board a Jetstar flight to Wellington when the altercation broke out at Auckland airport.
Witnesses said airport security guards had to separate the two men as they came to blows and rolled around on the floor of the domestic departures area.

Got to love the air NZ advert "get into flights not into fights"
Far be it from me to pass judgment on any situation but shock jocks in general $#!^ me to tears.
Of course any individual should not use any violence but I can imagine how, under stressful circumstances, someone could snap a gasket and jump the counter with what could well be extenuating circumstances.
Then again being a "shock jock" maybe one could be forgiven for thinking he deserved a smack in the chops.
