The American purser was informing passengers of the iminent issue of the landing cards and the circumstances where thye were needed.

She says " if you dont have a British EMPIRE passport you will need to fill in a landing card". She then added and EU passports too.

She continued " The UK landing card is required if you are visiting England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, the Shetland Isles and the Channel Islands."

It was priceless - mind you when she appeared in the cabin she looked about 100 years old, old enough to remeber there used to be an empire.
