KLM to Cardiff or Bristol
I've just been looking at flights from Amsterdam to either Cardiff or Bristol in November.I was surprised at the price difference.214 Euros return to Cardiff and 132 Euros to Bristol.Out of curiosity i typed in the same journeys in reverse i.e. Cardiff or Bristol to Amsterdam and i found the Bristol price was about the same but the Cardiff to Amsterdam return was only 107 Pounds compared to the 214 Euros going the other way as it were.Does anyone know the reason for this?It would suit me better to fly to Cardiff but the price difference would probably make me opt for Bristol

They compete with Squeezy on the Bristol route, I don't think there are any direct competitors AMS-CWL
Why are the prices to AMS similar? I'm guessing that people in the region are more familiar with the proximity of the airports and would be less forgiving of higher prices from one or the other.

I hadn't thought of that. Competition on the Bristol route with Easyjet.Still can't understand why it costs only 107 pounds to fly out from Cardiff to Amsterdam and return and 214 Euros from Amsterdam to Cardiff return on the same dates. It's not only these dates by the way .The rather large difference in price seems to be pretty general as i'm often booking these flights.

Leisure.Live in Germany but come from Brecon. So Cardiff is really practical.Bristol is ok as well.Being half English and half Welsh i'm an equal opportunity customer.
