Red face Looking for a solution with an airmiles/ba issue

I stupidly booked a flight through airmiles with ba as carrier before fully researching our destination. Flight is routed lgw-barbados-tobago out and inbound. well you know what i mean. Given security issues I have been finding in Tobago villas dont want the uncertainty given wife and three girls. It seems I cant get off in Barbados even if arranging a trip back to tobago for return flight. Onward flights to other destinations not great timing wise. Seems tickets restrict any adjustment. Am I stuffed? Or is there a way out? Or alternatively am I being OTT regarding Tobago.

thanks and sorry to trouble you

I'm going to be a traitor here, but I honestly think you'd get the best advice by going to another forum (www.flyertalk.com) as there are some true airmiles eggheads there who could probably give you an endless list of answers.

This forum is great for many things, but airmiles is sometimes its weakness!

.............L'aviateur is correct. Also, take a look at the Foreign Office website.
