Airline food
I've seen comments on this forum from time to time about the quality of airline food, and it got me thinking. How much difference is there between the food on different airlines, given that they all tend to get their food from the same suppliers? Is it just down to 'pot luck' on the day, or are some airlines genuinely better than others?

Airline food
Airlines may use the same supplier, but will have different budgets and specifications. So depending on the airlines being compared, there will be a difference in quality.

Yes, there is a difference between the airlines in what meals they carry, but for a specific airline it also depends on the availability of food at their hubs and outstations: what vegetables end up in the salad, the brands of potato-chips, cookies, cheese and such.
