Hi,
I'm flying to Dusseldorf from Manchester with FlyBe on friday morning. Please can someone let me know what the aircraft type is?

Many thanks in advance.

I don't ever recall many tickets that show the aircraft type? Or am I missing something.

Few tickets indeed show the aircraft type, although with modern electronic tickets that seem to run to about six A4 pages it does appear more often than in the old days of carbonised multi-part IATA standard tickets. After all, there has to be something to fill up all those pages.

The aircraft for the three daily flights on the route is a Dash-8 derivative, the variation more commonly known as the Q400. Bombardier Dash 8 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Flybe have 54 of them, the world's largest fleet. They have disposed of their old standard Dash-8 aircraft. The details of the types used are shown in the timetable on the Flybe website.
